Malavika – The show must go on

Actress Malavika is reportedly five months pregnant and yet is proceeding with work. With a doctor by her side, the actress went ahead to dance for a song sequence in the film 'Kaarthigai' which stars Vikramadithya of 'Whistle' fame as hero.

It is reported that Malavika fell in love during the first schedule of shooting 'Kaarthigai' in Bangkok and became pregnant by the time the second schedule started in Hyderabad. The movie is bilingual and is being made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The makers of the film just could not entertain thoughts of postponing filming. So, they have arrived at a decision to finish all the portions involving Malavika first and hence the decision.

An experience medical practitioner kept a close watch on Malavika as she swayed glamorously to the beat of the song.

Actress Samiksha, Disco Shanthi's husband Sreehari and Suman play prominent roles. Popular Telugu director Veera wields the megaphone.
